Marie Kondo and her Konmari method

1.jpg

From Agenthia we want to explain the famous method that helps us to organize the house and therefore, to order life. Her method has nine steps, each of which must be fully completed before moving on to the next one:

  • Throw away everything that does not make us happy or does not have a deep meaning for us. And to keep a clear conscience in the face of the anxiety that getting rid of belongings can produce, thank you for your service.
  • Store only what brings joy in our lives and is essential, since it makes us happy.
  • Sort by category, not by location. To be fully aware of what you have and what you don't, you have to classify things by clothes, food, books, etc.
  • Always start with clothes. Clothes are easier to throw away because you quickly know whether or not to wear them.
  • Organize vertically and by color the clothes that make you happy. It is easier to locate the pieces folded into three parts that interest us and the drawers look much more organized.
  • You don't have to put off ordering for later. If you start, you have to end each category.
  • Every object you own has to have some value or meaning to you.
  • Solitude is the best state for cleaning. In company there may be distractions and they can persuade you not to get rid of something.
  • The furniture there is enough to store what you have. Buy new is only necessary if not in tension of furniture.

As you can see, they are very simple steps to follow. Increasingly, due to the situation we are experiencing, we spend a lot of time at home, and what better way to improve some aspects that we could not before due to lack of time. These are the different steps you have to follow to get a more orderly home and therefore, with more peace. Have you considered trying the Konmari method?
