How to keep your home away from pollen

  • The first thing you can do is make sure that your furniture is the right one, choosing closed (rather than open) will save you having to constantly clean accumulated dust, such as on shelves.
  • Choose light curtains and thin fabrics that prevent the accumulation of dust is also a very important factor at this time of year. The carpets are better than wool, cotton or vegetable fibers. Currently in the market there are new models made of recycled plastics that can be scrubbed and this will make it easier to eliminate the dust that causes the allergy.
  • Avoid opening the windows at the first and last hour of the day. With 5 minutes at noon, which is when there is less amount of pollen in the air, there is more than enough!
  • Make as many showers as necessary: remember that pollen stays on the skin and hair, so every time you come from the street we recommend you go under water. We also recommend washing the curtains of the sink at least once a week (and thus avoid the accumulation of dust and fungi).
  • Vacuum the mattress of the bedroom once a week, since it also accumulates a lot of dust that will cause more allergy.
  • Make sure that the street shoes are in the entrance and do not use them to be at home, since you will enter even more dust in your home.

These are some of the tips that we give you from Agenthia that you can enjoy a home away from allergies and dust!
